Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, on September 7, 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III is a stage actor writer, director and writer, as is her mother, Sara Wood, is an actor as well as acting coach. There are two older brothers, Dana Wood, a singer, and Ira David Wood IV, who has also appeared. Evan and her brothers have frequently were seen performing at Theatre In The Park in Raleigh. Her father started the company and is its executive director. At the age of five she was screen-tested against Kirsten Dunst for her lead part in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994) following a lengthy audition process. Along with her mom and brother Ira the family moved to Los Angeles in 1996. Since her arrival, she has had successes in TV series, movies on TV, and feature films.
