Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis (Greek pronunciation January 1, 1969) was a famous American actor, comedian as well as a musician, writer and comedian. He was a part of the Comedy Central Presents special and hosted his own show Late World with Zach on VH1. Galifianakis has been a star in a variety of films, including The Hangover Trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010). The Campaign (2012), Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance (2014) and Masterminds (2016). He also voiced characters in animated films such as Puss in Boots (2011), The Lego Batman Movie (2017), Missing Link (2019), and Ron's Gone Missing (2021). Galifianakis is currently hosting of Funny or Die's talk show Between Two Ferns, with Zach Galifianakis. He was featured in the FX series Baskets and was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 2017. Zachary Knight Galifianakis, a North Carolina native, was born October 1 1969, in Wilkesboro. The actor is the son of Mary Frances (nee Cashion) and Harry Galifianakis, a heating oil dealer. His mother is English and Scottish-Irish, while his paternal grandparents originate from Crete. He was baptized in his father's Greek Orthodox faith. He has a younger sister, Merritt as well as an elder brother, Greg. His cousin Nick Galifianakis is a Washington Post cartoonist and his uncle Nick Galifianakis is also a politician. Galifianakis attended Wilkes Central High School. Then, he attended North Carolina State University and majored in communications. Galifianakis was employed at a public radio station while in college. He was a teacher of waltz in 1991 when he first met Mary J. Blige. Galifianakis was a Saturday Night Live host for two weeks following his television debut at Boston Common. Galifianakis has stated that he worked on Saturday Night Live for two week and Britney Spears hosted for one of those episodes. I sketched a picture. Then she declared, "Yeah, that's funny." Galifianakis was Out Cold's lead actress and also had small parts in Below, Bubble Boy, Heartbreakers and Into the Wild.
