Emma Watson

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was the daughter of British parents Jacqueline Luesby (a lawyer) and Chris Watson (a French mother). When she was five years old, old, she relocated to Oxfordshire where she attended Dragon School. Emma knew she wanted to perform since when she was six years old. She was trained for several years in the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts. This part-time theatre school taught her singing, dancing, and acting. After eight consecutive auditions, David Heyman revealed to Emma and Rupert Grint (other applicants) that they were given the roles of Hermione Gringer, Harry Potter, and Ron Weasley. Emma's first cinematic screen appearance was with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001). It was the top-grossing film in 2001, breaking records in terms of opening day sales as well as opening-weekend takes. Reviewers praised the film and the performances of the three young actors who were the most prominent. The widely distributed British newspaper The Daily Telegraph has praised her performance as "admirable". Emma was awarded the Young Artist Award as Leading Young Actress in an Film Film and was nominated to win five more prizes. Following the debut film in the highly popular franchise, Emma became one of the most well-known actors in the world. Hermione Granger remained her character for more than ten years in the Harry Potter films. Emma acquired two Critics Choice Award nominations from the Broadcast Film Critics Association for her roles in Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban and Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire.
