Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix is an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was an athletically inclined child and developed a passion for sprinting at Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt she was ranked within the top two places in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix finished high school and signed an agreement with Adidas. In 2004, she began her studies at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s, setting a new junior world record. The youngest participant in the 200 meters at the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005. She won her medal once again in 2007, by beating the long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third in each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
