Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress, best famous for her performances on TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has displayed her acting versatility by giving outstanding performances in television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. It was initially noticed because of her role as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. But it was her performance as Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) in the biographical All the Way film that led to her fame as an actor. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show to air a new season. Hind was recently shot the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The movie is expected to premiere around the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj was a Army scientist, who passed away on March 18, 2017 and her mother Vrinda is a domestic worker. Her older brother is Aditya Rai, who is an engineer of the merchant navy. Her older brother, Aditya Rai coproduced and cowrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir was the high school in which Bachchan was a student following her family's move to Mumbai. Following her completion of intermediate courses through Jai Hind College, she took up a place at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she scored 90 percent in her H.S.C. exams. The adolescent years of her life were filled with in studying classical dance and music over five time. Biology was one of her most loved subjects. Bachchan, who was then studying architecture, was crowned Miss World in the year 1994. The model was elevated to the highest echelon after being awarded the title. The year 2003 was the time she was offered attractive jobs at PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also got a contract as the L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. In 1997, she starred in two highly acclaimed films: Iruvar and Aur pyaar ho gaya. The films defied the conventional form that was prevalent in Bollywood films of the day, and pushed Bachchan to the forefront of Bollywood's New Bollywood. Bachchan's heartbreaking portrayal Paro, the lover who was duped by her within Devdas (2002), one of the most well-known Bollywood films of that time. Its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival cemented her as the Queen of Bollywood. The following year she won praise for her performance in Chokher Bali (2003) an intense drama which was inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's book. That same year, she was appointed as the first Indian actress to be on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan was in Bride and Prejudice by Gurinder Chadha. The film is a dance and musical version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. She was a star with a beautiful face and was brought to the very premier major film in English. Following the release of Provoked The : A True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and was a part of the film Dhoom: 2 (2007). She married Abhishek Bachchan who was a co-star and son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most prominent personalities together.
