Aisha Hinds is an American actress, is known for playing roles in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has proven her range in the role of actress with remarkable performances in TV series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. The role she played in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was her first performance to catch her the attention of viewers. The film was her role as Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) in the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series to a third season. The show was renewed for a third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind finished filming on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is scheduled for a release in mid-2019.
