Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish model and actress. Doody made her acting debut in the Bond film called A View to a Kill in 1985. She starred in 1989 as an archaeologist with Nazi sympathies Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan Doovan played Charlotte in Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody was invited by a photographer, who asked her to model. She then developed an industry-wide career in commercial modeling. Doody strictly avoided the glamour of thongs, nakedness and nudity when she was modeling. After being noticed by the casting directors of the James Bond new film, Doody took a small part of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody's name was included in John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 which features the most promising new actors in 1986. 38. Doody had just turned 18 years old when she took on the character as a Bond girl. She remains the youngest Bond girl. A Prayer for the Dying (1997) with Mickey Rourke, also featured one of her roles as IRA Siobhan. Doody had a non-speaking role in the 1987 film adaptation The Secret Garden appearing as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias in a dream. The episode of the Storyteller Sapsorrow was her debut leading part. It took place in 1988 with Dawn French, John Hurt as well as Jennifer Saunders. Her first appearance was in the 1988 movie Taffin opposite Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian Nazi-sympathizer and archaeologist opposite Harrison Ford. Doody has worked with three James Bond actors. Doody was a part of Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series inspired by Hitler Diaries. Doody later moved to Hollywood. It was her choice to succeed Cybill Shepard as L'Oreal spokeswoman. She went on to star opposite Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his wife and agent on the film Major League II. Doody, who had been away from acting for almost 10 years, came back in 2003 for a minor role on her role in the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine played her as a character at an award ceremony. in 2004, Doody was in the film with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version of King Solomon's Mines. Also, she appeared as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. In 2010, Doody played a role on Danny Dyer's feature film The Rapture (2010). In 2011, she was to play the lead role in The Asphyx remake, but this project did not go ahead. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. She starred in We Still Kill the Old Way which was a film from 2014. In November, she won the Almeria Tierra de Cinema Award and received a Star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
